Artist CV
Avanthi Dawe is a Melbourne based artist working across various mediums such as graphite, charcoal, watercolour. With a passion for exploring her creativity to its fullest, her works are both figurative and abstract exploring the connection she has between her physical self and inner self. She is equally fascinated about her relationship to the seemingly mundane, objects in life that consume her every day and the landscape she is surrounded by. Mixed together with her wild imagination and a need for capturing intricate details Avanthi’s work can easily go from painting and drawing, to photography and writing.
She is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Fine Arts and Visual Culture to further develop her art practice and knowledge.
Her work is held in private collections in Australia and London.
